This was so good, this is now one of my favorite fights in the series. I loved how they kept transitioning from the present to the past plus the animation was 12/10

in my opinion. taijutsu/close combat battles are more stiasfying because we can see them clearly

I really liked the art style change for just their fight as well.

In terms of Genjutsu Itachi vs Sasuke was the best and in Taijutsu Kakashi vs Obito.

it was kinda boring and lack of details didn't help

Having more details like shadow and lighting doesn't always help ya know? As an digital artist and an aspiring animator, this kind of art style they used for the battle was immaculate, the basic shadings and the super awesome animation really blended well

the lack of details and more dull coloring also gave a feel for the characters state of mind and invoked a different type of feeling, which was wonderful. I don't think it would have had that effect with the normal art style.

also, you put into words what I couldn't. guess that's the diff b/w someone how knows art+animation technicalities vs someone who doesn't lol

on the other hand naruto killed both kakuzu and nagato.So technically naruto is the bad guy here.

it was yura, you know the guy sasori was controlling? He was used by akatuski as its clone in a fight and naruto killed him with his rasengan

He did kill the 6 Pains (although he was getting controlled and yeh, Nagato was controlling the Pains but still)

i mean not really..... they were already dead, nagato was controlling their corpse with the chakra rod or something ( forgot the name )

He was already dead, they just used a puppet jutsu on him.

Obito did not use his Rinnegan in this fight, he let Kakashi hit him so that he could break Madara's Rinne Rebirth jutsu

I saw Arcane before Naruto so this fight reminded me of Jinx vs Ekko
